Rules to support "Map Based" exploration styles
Having tools and rules to support styles of play that use maps for exploration -- rather than only for specific battle scenes -- would be fantastic.
This especially useful for groups that enjoy less "theatre of the mind" and "scene by scene" approaches to exploration and prefer the "complete dungeon crawl" experience. This also allows people to better leverage Dungeon Mapping software on homebrew maps. This also allows the dungeon and exploration space to double as a battle map.
If the platform intends to support other rulesets as well, this would include things like doors and hidden doors, walls, vision modes, tile objects, and more.

We're keeping this marked "Under consideration," but we have some longer term plans for the map-style exploration that you're talking about. We think it's a great idea, too. -
