  For those who employed the "multiple accounts" hack, how does one remove the gmpc from the game once it's been added?

  Yes! Unfortunately, if there is an orphaned / GM-created hero / mage in your campaign that appears in the "Friends" section, that mage cannot be removed from the campaign. The only way to clear that out would be to start a brand new campaign, such that the hero doesn't appear. We'll make a note to ask about removing orphaned heroes entirely, however!
  
  All custom NPCs (made by right-click-duplicate) can be deleted with a right-click in that NPC section of the Characters Tray. Hope this helps!

  I believe the intention with this is that if the mage exists in that campaign's world, then they may be used in future situations.
